This past Sunday saw the running of the Uniform Services Run 2015. The event had a 10km solo, half marathon solo (21km), and a half marathon relay (three 7km sections). The weather that morning proved to be uncooperative (as it has been for most races this season so far) with it being 6 degrees but with a cold bite to the wind and light drizzle. How does this race affect the Toyata Plaza rankings? Well on the men’s side for the season several men are opening their lead such as Mark Croft, Trevor Trahey and Bill Pomeroy gaining big points in their age categories. On the women’s side of the season rankings, the under 20 category is shaping up to be a battle between Jade Roberts and Keeley Cox. Laura Lawes surpasses Amanda Wilkins for the under 30 points leader after this race. Margo Murphy increases her lead in the under 40 category, as does Joanne Taylor in the under 50 category, and Yvonne Martin in the under 60.
