Memorial edges out St.FX 65 to 59 on a Saturday night at the Fieldhouse in St.John’s.

A strong game from Robinson leads the Seahawks past the X-women in a game with a shocking zero fast break points from either side. Memorial didn’t do themselves any favours with a slow start to the game and a weak fourth quarter but they still managed to prevail. Megan Robinson hit 5 of 10 from the field and 3 of 6 from downtown to help give Memorial the edge. The fourth year guard leads the AUS in 3 point percentages and is fourth overall in scoring. Contributing to the cause for Memorial was Tianna Brown with 11 rebounds in only 22 minutes of play. The win brings Memorial to a game under 500. St.FX is not a strong team though so this is a game Memorial needed to win.
